Definitions

  • 🎯 Price = Closing price US trading hours (this emoji is not dynamic).
  • Change = Percentage change from the previous trading day (price above the previous day is 🔥 and price below the previous day is 👎).
  • Low Previous Day = This is informational only. Some people watch to see if the previous day low is broken. For higher risk trades, this information can be useful. If the previous low was not violated at close then 🟢 and if the previous day low was violated at close, then 🔴.
  • Middle Band = This is the 20 day average of the price for the Bollinger Band. Stocks/ETFs tend to drop more dramatically when this low is broken. Alternatively, when the closing price is above the middle band, the likelihood of price improvement may increase. When the closing price is above the middle Bollinger Band then ✅ and if the closing price is below the middle Bollinger Band then the emojii is🚨.
  • Trend Down = When the closing price is below the middle Bollinger Band, the short term trend is considered down. Some traders will use the 20 or 50 day simple moving average to identify the trend. If you want the change this attribute, select a customized plan and identify the rule you would like to see.
  • Price at Close = This field represents the strength of buying by investors at the end of the day. When stocks or ETFs consistently close lower than the open, this can be a sign that the price strength is weakening. A closing price above the open is 🚀 and a closing price below the open price then the emojii is🔻.
